Media Resource Function (MRF) provides media resources for the home network, and logically/physically consists of the following two features:

Media Resource Function Controller (MRFC): Communicates with the application server and controls the media resources of the MRFP. |

Media Resource Function Processor (MRFP): Directly processes all media resources and performs the following functions: |
