Access Control Router (ACR) is a data core network infrastructure system offering IP routing and mobility management function for WiBro/WiMAX between RAS and WiBro core network. ACR connects to multiple numbers of RAS and controls handover to guarantee intra- ACR or inter-ACR mobility. Interconnection between RAS and ACR is based on TCP/IP. ACR is configured based on Giga-bit Ethernet switches for fast packet transmission.
