IM-Service Switching Function (IM-SSF) controls interworking between CSCF
and SCF in the IMS network in order to provide the service of SCF in the
IMS network. For this purpose, IM-SSF interworks with 3G SCF over CAP and
with 2G SCF over the MAP/WIN protocol.
