CSCF

CSCF(Call Session Control Function) performs SIP-based call control and session handling in 3G network in order to provide various multimedia services. CSCF fully supports CSCF specification on IP Multimedia Core Network(IM-CN) defined in 3GPP Release 6 and also some features defined in Release 7. CSCF supports these features as well: Proxy-CSCF(P-CSCF), Interrogating-CSCF(I-CSCF), Serving-CSCF(C-CSCF), BGCF, and IBCF.

    • Manage subscriber registration, Control session setup
    • Support various multimedia services
    • Provide IPSec, IMS-ALG, AGW Feature
    • Support NFV, Cloud-Native Deployment

HSS

HSS(Home Subscriber Server) serves as a semi-permanent database of subscriber information(ID, service authority, authentication, status, iFC info, etc) through provisioning on IMS Network. It exchanges subscriber information over interface with other systems: I/S-CSCF, SIP AS, OSA SCS, IM-SSF, etc. In 3GPP roadmap, HSS is integrated with HLR, AuC in order to accommodate subscriber information on Legacy CS/PS, LTE Network.

    • Manage subscriber information and service profile
    • Support Diameter Cx, Sh
    • Support CS-DBS Type

IBCF

IBCF(Interconnection Border Control Function) acts as a border controller for interworking with IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) network and sorts out security or interworking-related issues when interworking with various network. IBGF(Interconnection Boder Gateway Function) provides media relay among UEs on service provider network.

    • Topology Hiding & Security
    • Media Relay/Transcoding
    • SIP/SDP Protocol Compensation
    • Support NFV Deployment

MGCF

MGCF (Media Gateway Control Function) acts as a gateway to the PSTN/CS network over the IMS network. It carries out conversion/mapping between ISUP which is the call control protocol in the PSTN/CS network and SIP which is call control protocol in the IMS network. It also control MG resources using Megaco/H.248, if necessary.

    • SIP/ISUP message conversion
    • IMS signaling interworking
    • CS (Circuit Switched) signaling interworking
    • Media resource(Megaco/H.248) control

SBC/IMS-ALG

Telcoware SBC (Session Border Controller) is a network boundary node which protects private network of operator against malware attack in open public network and also provides service accessibility and QoS. It supports SIP, RTP, MSRP and XCAP protocols for voice, video, messaging and multimedia services.

    • SIP/RTP/MSRP/XCAP NAT Traversal
    • Encryption/decryption(IPSec/TLS/SRTP)
    • DDoS, Packet Flooding attack protection
    • Realm-based session control

C4-SSW

Telcoware C4-SSW (Softswitch) is a system that processes IP-based call transit. The system provides the same service as the traditional circuit-based C4 Switch. It also supports various next-generation IP-based protocols, thereby providing a much wider range of service. In addition, the C4-SSW offers various services through the control of SG and MG/TG and interworks with a wide range of different types of external networks.

    • SIP/ISUP/PRI/R2 protocol processing
    • MG, TG control (Megaco/H.248)
    • Interworking with SG (using SIGTRAN protocol) / Intelligent Network (INAP)
    • Call processing, number translation, routing and resources management

TAS

IMS Multimedia Telephony service brings various services related to or combined with communication between users. TAS(Telephony Application Server) provides add-on multimedia service delivered between users in IMS. TAS provides these following services to allow users to communicate in a better environment: caller identification service, outgoing/incoming call restriction, call forwarding, lettering, ring-back tone, etc.

    • Provide mobile add-on services(Lettering, Ring-back tone, Call forwarding, Call available notification, etc)
    • Provide SIP-based feature code add-on service settings
    • MRF interworking for announcement
    • Support NFV Deployment

RCS(IM,PS)

Telcoware RCS IM system is a communication system that supports one-to-one or group chatting and file transfer. RCS IM system works on IP Network, independent from Access Network, so that same service can be provided on all wired and wireless network such as Internet and Wireless LAN, as well as mobile network such as CDMA 1x, EV-DO, and GPRS.

    • Support one-to-one or group chatting
    • File transfer(MSRP/HTTP)
    • IM to SMS/MMS, SMS/MMS to IM through IPSMGW interworking
    • Gifticon(Gift card) server interworking

MRF

MRF (Media Resource Function) provides media resources for the home network, and logically/physically consists of the following two features.

MRFC (Media Resource Function Controller)
Communicates with the application server and controls the media resources of the MRFP.
MRFP (Media Resource Function Processor)
Directly processes all media resources
    • DTMF detection, TONE transmission.
    • Announcement transmission
    • Audio/Video Conference
    • Manage media resource and audio source per service
